Of course the big news this week is that Fantasy Faire 2020 opens Thursday, April 23, and once again Elite Equestrian is participating.
We are super pleased to release not one, but four animesh riding fantasy horses: the luscious Ocean Kelpy gacha, 2 unicorns (Flora and Dazzle), and the mini Pixie horse.
The Ocean Kelpy made its initial appearance at the Idle Rogue Guerilla Burlesque’s Le Cirque de la Nuit’s 2020 performances as one of the interstitial installations between dance acts. Next the Kelpies will swim to Fantasy Faire, where they may be found in our store in Melusina’s Depths. The Kelpies are available in 29 colors (24 commons, 5 Ultrarares), plus 2 photo HUDs and 5 3-color eye HUDs in a gacha machine.
Also making their debut are our two standard-sized Unicorns, Flora and Dazzle. Flora is a animesh rideable with floral decorations and multiple textures options to change her butterflies, flowers, vines and more. She releases with a set of pastel roan coats including pink, blue, aqua, lavender and of course, basic black and white.
Dazzle is a animesh rideable with jeweled decorations and multiple textures options to change her pearls, metals, gems and more. She releases with a set of gemstone colored dun coats including garnet, sapphire, peridot and amethyst, and of course, basic black and white.
Also joining the line up is a special animesh riding horse for the smaller set, the Mini Pixie Horse. Mini Pixie has all of the features of the Standard Pixie, but packed into a tiny horse with special animations for the smaller set. Mini Pixie includes a texture with options for wings and flowers, 6 coats, and more. The included gesture HUD enables all small riders to adjust Pixie’s height to their preference.
It’s been such a busy Winter for us, and we’ve been focused on creating!
So far this Winter we have released the Shetland Pony in a variety of formats, including the adorable Cinderella Carriage. We have also developed and released our new American Saddlebred with 3-gaits (Slow gait, park trot, park canter) with the classic 1870s Goddard Buggy exclusively at the Great Exhibition in New Babbage. We also developed a new set of armor, the 1560 Italian Milanese Armor for the Cleveland Bay, available exclusively at We Love Roleplay (25% discount while at this event!).
What’s upcoming? We have a lot of new releases for the Spring. Of course Fantasy Faire is always a big event, and we have 3 gorgeous new releases just for that (shhhh, they’re a secret!) Sooner than that though, we will be releasing the Shetland Pony with the Swan Sleigh, the POA, riding pony, and the Sidesaddle Shetland and a ton of new appaloosa coats in the coming month.
We’re working on the American Saddlebred riding horse in English and western; the Friesian; the Dartmore and some other odds and ends, including a couple of new Gachas. And of course, we continue to work on other wonderful projects in the background.
The new animesh RealHorse Rideable Shetland Ponies are available in 5 different styles and in 2 different rider sizes. The Ponies are configured as English/Dressage, Baroque/Dressage, Western, Rosamunda Fantasy, and Ponicorn all for both XS/S and M/L riders.
The XS/S versions are animated for small mesh avatars including Toddleedoo Baby and Kid, Bebe and Chonk. The M/L versions are animated for all standard avatars including tween, teen and short adults. The rider animations themselves are different; the XS/S versions do not break the small mesh avatars, the M/L will. Try before you buy to make sure you have the correct version.
The Shetland Pony in a nutshell:
FEATURES & BENEFITS:
Low cost – all the features you need; none you don’t
Easy to use – just attach and go
Rapid, simple setup – adjust height and position in seconds
Persistent configuration – your settings are remembered
Updates on our products are rare but sometimes things change. Then we do such a fast evolution of one of our projects that an update is mandatory!
This is the case with the update of our new RealHorse Rider to the new RealHorse Rideable Animesh Horse.
Here’s what is updated in the new version:
~ Complete overhaul of the AO and HUD scripting to improve speed and function. ~ Reduced the number of scripts and the amount of memory usage to 1150 Kb. ~ Added sounds to the Gesture HUD. ~ Added multiple stands to the AO for the horse. ~ Completely reanimated the horse animations in both AO and Gesture HUD. ~ Created a smoother jump sequence. ~ Added an adjustment system to the Gesture Hud to allow riders to quickly and easily position their horses. ~ Positioning adjustments persist between uses (The RealHorse “remembers” the adjustment you set.) ~ Changed the gait sounds. ~ Changed the rider animations priority to allow all of the full-sized horses to be used with combat systems. ~ Overhauled the Gesture HUD to make it simpler to use and reduce the amount of screen space used.
What this means: A horse with lower script memory usage that is simpler and easier to use, and that more effectively competes in most equestrian sports, while still delivering the full equestrian experience.
Other Useful Things to Know!
Complexity:: 30,700 – 38,400 Complexity (Rank 1)
Average Script Usage: 1150 kb memory
